These projects emerged from our 2024 cohort and are currently being used by individuals and small businesses throughout Thailand to make better financial decisions.
VendorWise Budget Tracker
Created by Praneet Wichitwong
A simplified expense tracking system designed specifically for street food vendors. The app works offline and syncs when connected, helping vendors understand their daily profit margins and seasonal spending patterns.
Family Finance Planner
Created by Siriporn Namkham
A comprehensive budgeting worksheet system that helps families plan for school expenses, healthcare costs, and emergency savings. Includes templates for different family sizes and income levels.
Beyond the Classroom
Our students' projects don't end with graduation. Many continue developing their financial tools, with some launching as social enterprises or being adopted by community organizations.
Working on my capstone project taught me more about real financial challenges than any textbook could. When I saw street vendors struggling with cash flow, I knew I had found my purpose.
Project Development Phase
Students identify real financial problems in their communities and develop practical solutions over 16 weeks. Each project must serve actual users, not hypothetical scenarios.
Real-World Testing
Projects are tested with actual users for at least 8 weeks. Students collect feedback, measure impact, and iterate based on real usage patterns and user needs.
Continued Impact
Successful projects continue operating after graduation. We track long-term usage and impact, with many students maintaining and improving their solutions for years.
